Job summary
Rosendin Electric seeks an Engineer III to provide technical engineering information, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with project requirements and codes. This senior role combines design oversight with hands-on field coordination on electrical systems for high-profile commercial and industrial projects.
You will oversee a team of engineers and designers, review submittals, coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical trades, and interface with clients.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering including power distribution, lighting, and codes.
- Ability to supervise and mentor engineers and staff on projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of engineers, designers, and staff on a project basis or initiative.
- Review, comment, and process equipment and system submittals.
- Coordinate electrical design with architectural, structural, mechanical, and other trades.
- Develop designs for power, lighting, and auxiliary systems; prepare two‑line diagrams and calculations.
- Attend design team meetings and interface with clients and contractors.
- Coordinate with project manager on budget, deliverables, and schedules.
