Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a senior electrical engineer in Texas to lead expediting, field and commissioning support, and act as the technical representative to project managers and site teams.

The role requires a PE license, 8+ years in electrical power design, and extensive experience with switchgear, relays, and automation systems. Travel up to 50% is possible; strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years of power systems design.
• PE license required.

Responsibilities

• Design intra-switchgear and inter-equipment control systems.
• Develop site-wide Sequence of Operation (SOO).
• Coordinate vendors; review submittals; witness tests.
• Design safety interlock systems (electrical/mechanical).
• Develop automation using PLC/RTAC controllers and load schemes.
• Develop relay protection and IEC61850 logics.
