Job summary

Rosendin Electric in the United States seeks an experienced electrical engineer to lead senior-level expediting, field technical support, startup and commissioning oversight. You will act as the technical representative to the Project Manager and QC/Site teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 8+ years of design experience in power systems, and a PE license. Travel up to 50% is expected and you will be part of a large, employee-owned organization with ESOP benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and minimum 8+ years of engineering design experience in electrical power systems.
PE license required.
Travel up to 50% (does not include local field visits).

Responsibilities

Design and develop intra-switchgear and inter-equipment control systems.
Design and develop site-wide Sequence of Operation (SOO).
Conduct vendor coordination and submittal reviews and factory witness test to ensure equipment meets specs and design-build requirements.
Design and develop safety electrical/mechanical interlock systems.
Develop system-wide automation using PLC/RTAC style controllers (load management, start/stop controls, interlocks).
Develop relay protection and IEC61850-based logics.
