Job summary
Rosendin is seeking a Senior Estimator in the Tempe, AZ area with relocation support to multiple locations. The role leads bid preparation, cost estimation, and supplier coordination for electrical construction projects.
You will review drawings, perform quantity take-offs, and guide junior estimators through complex bids. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering and at least four years of estimating experience, with proficiency in Accubid, Livecount
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years' estimating or related experience.
- Experience in Accubid estimating software, Livecount Cloud, and Bluebeam software preferred.
- Experience in CAD or 3D software preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates from quantity take-off and compile detailed bid packages.
- Lead discipline sub-estimates for bids and coordinate with suppliers.
- Review specs and drawings and attend pre-bid meetings.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and cost savings.
- Maintain all backup documents and Rosendin estimating program.
- Draft scope letters for bid and negotiated projects.
- Provide project turnover details to management.
