Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking a Senior Estimator to prepare bid and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. This role acts as the lead estimator, coordinating with estimators, suppliers, and customers to finalize the estimate.

You will review drawings, perform take-offs, and develop labor and material costs with site-based productivity data. On-site relocation is provided for projects in TX, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in construction related field.
4+ years estimating or related experience in construction.
Experience with Accubid, Livecount Cloud, and Bluebeam preferred.
CAD or 3D software experience preferred.
Combination of education, training, and relevant experience considered.

Responsibilities

Prepare estimates from quantity take-offs and create complete bid packages.
Identify key elements to develop competitive estimates.
Review specs and drawings; attend pre-bid meetings to define scope.
Provide leadership for discipline sub-estimates.
Maintain backup documents for estimate figures.
