Job summary
Rosendin is seeking a Senior Estimator in Phoenix to lead bid development for electrical construction projects. You will prepare detailed estimates from quantity take-offs, review drawings and specs, and guide cross-functional teams through the bid process to ensure competitive pricing.
The role involves coordinating with suppliers and customers, identifying value engineering opportunities, and maintaining traceable estimating data for project handoffs. Occasional site-related travel may apply.
Qualifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Perform arithmetic calculations for estimating.
- Mentor and develop estimators.
- Strong communication and client interaction skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates from quantity take-offs and complete estimate printout.
- Review specs and drawings; attend pre-bid meetings to define scope and contents of estimates.
- Identify value engineering opportunities for cost savings.
- Lead sub-estimates for bids and coordinate with suppliers/subcontractors.
- Explain scope and pricing to project turnover teams.
