Job summary

Rosendin is hiring a Senior Estimator to lead electrical construction bid estimates. The role requires reviewing plans, coordinating multiple estimators, and driving competitive pricing.

Relocation to select Texas locations is provided, with on-site work and opportunity for career growth. You will prepare detailed cost estimates, manage supplier quotes, and collaborate with Project Management during turnovers.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints/engineering drawings.
• Perform arithmetic calculations for estimating.
• Estimate all types of projects and coordinate group effort.
• Mentor and assist with development of estimators.
• Experience with estimating software and CAD/3D tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimate from quantity take-off and complete the estimate for printing.
• Review specifications and drawings; attend pre-bid meetings.
• Identify key areas for competitive estimates and value engineering.
• Provide leadership to personnel preparing sub-estimates.
• Solicit quotes from suppliers/subcontractors and ensure conformance.
• Prepare detailed material/equipment listings and backup documents.
• Draft scope/proposal letters for bids and transitions to projects.
