Job summary

Rosendin is hiring a Senior Estimator in Texas to lead the bid estimation process for electrical construction projects. You will prepare detailed estimates, review plans, and coordinate with estimators, suppliers, and customers to ensure competitive bids.

You will mentor junior estimators, analyze project scope, and drive accurate pricing while maintaining documentation and using tools like Accubid, Livecount Cloud, and Bluebeam. Relocation to multiple Texas locations is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years' estimating or other relevant experience in closing constructions estimates.
• Experience in Accubid estimating software, Livecount Cloud, and Bluebeam software preferred.
• Experience in CAD or 3D software preferred.
• Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates from quantity take-off and complete the estimate for the bid package.
• Identify parts of the project key to a competitive estimate.
• Review drawings, specs, and attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope and contents of estimate.
• Evaluate opportunities for value engineering cost savings.
• Provide leadership to personnel preparing discipline sub estimates.
• Maintain documents and data backing up estimate figures.
