Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. seeks a Senior Estimator to prepare bid and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. You will lead the estimating team, work with estimators, suppliers, and customers to finalize the estimate and bid package.

Responsibilities include blueprint interpretation, take-offs, value engineering review, supplier quotes, and documenting back-up files. Will travel up to 10% and relocation assistance is provided to select Texas locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years estimating or similar construction experience.
• Experience with estimating software such as Accubid, Livecount Cloud, and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bid and submittal documents and complete cost estimates.
• Lead estimators, coordinate with suppliers and customers to finalize estimates.
• Review drawings, perform quantity take-offs, and identify value engineering opportunities.
• Solicit quotes, maintain backup files, and ensure on-time bid submissions.
• Provide project scope and pricing input prior to bid packages.
• Support project turnover with detailed scope reviews.
