Job summary

Rosendin is hiring a Senior Estimator to lead bid estimates for electrical construction projects in Texas. The role requires reviewing plans, doing quantity take-offs, and coordinating with estimators, suppliers, and clients.

Relocation to one of several Texas locations is required. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s in Construction Management or Engineering, 4+ years of estimating experience, and proficiency with Accubid, Livecount Cloud, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Perform arithmetic calculations for estimating.
• Minimum 4 years' estimating experience.
• Experience with CAD or 3D software preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates from quantity take-off and develop bid packages.
• Review specifications and drawings; attend pre-bid meetings.
• Identify value engineering opportunities.
• Lead team members on sub-estimates for bids.
• Solicit quotes from suppliers/subcontractors and review for conformance.
• Ensure timely completion of client-required documents.
• Draft scope and proposal letters for bids and negotiated projects.
• Provide detailed scope/pricing reviews to the Chief Estimator.
