Jobot is seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team in Minnesota. You will provide accurate and competitive cost estimates for high voltage transmission line projects, review electrical drawings, and collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of electrical estimating experience in the construction industry.
• Proven experience with EHV transmission lines, electrical transmission, and transmission line construction.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Project.

Responsabilités

• Review electrical drawings and blueprints to determine scope, cost, materials, and labor.
• Prepare detailed estimates and bids for EHV transmission line projects, ensuring all costs are accounted for.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather information.
• Analyze supplier and contractor options to secure cost-effective deals.
• Use Microsoft Office tools to prepare reports and track project costs.
