Hunt Electric is seeking an experienced Estimator III/Sr. Estimator to develop complete electrical estimates for industrial and commercial projects, including automotive and healthcare sectors. The role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and detailed bid development.

The position offers hybrid work in the Minneapolis metro area or remote work if outside the region, with collaboration across estimating and business development teams to drive successful bids.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) year degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical conceptual estimating, low voltage estimating, NEC requirements, and design/build estimating preferred.
• Strong computerized estimating skills using electrical estimating software; experience with Accubid or Enterprise is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret design drawings and specs from multiple disciplines (civil, structural, architectural, mechanical).
• Schedule and participate in estimating kickoff meetings.
• Lead bid reviews with the Estimating Team and Chief Estimator.
• Prepare quotations of materials and subcontracts for projects.
• Estimate labor, materials, and administrative costs accurately.
• Create scope of work documents describing inclusions, assumptions and clarifications.
• Develop bid strategies with BD team and leadership for each opportunity.
• Mentor and train junior estimators and develop talent.
