Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team. You will develop accurate cost estimates for high voltage transmission line projects and collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of estimating experience in construction and strong Excel/MS Project skills. Hybrid/Remote options available with 100% company-paid benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years in electrical estimating within construction.
Experience with EHV transmission lines and transmission construction.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

Review electrical drawings and blueprints to estimate scope, materials, and labor.
Prepare detailed cost estimates and bids for EHV transmission line projects.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors for project data.
Analyze suppliers/contractors to secure cost-effective deals.
Use Microsoft Office to prepare reports and track project costs.
