Job summary

Matrix Service Company is seeking a Sr. Electrical Project Manager, EPC, to lead large scale electrical projects and manage scope, schedule, and budget. You will direct field activities, liaise with clients, and oversee multi-discipline teams to ensure safety and quality.

The role covers P&L accountability, bid and proposal involvement, and development of new business opportunities within targeted client groups. Extensive experience in electrical EPC and union environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management; or combination of equivalent education and 15 years job-related experience if no degree.
• PMI certification preferred; extensive understanding of industry practices and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction and manage field projects of any size with cross-discipline coordination.
• Develop new business opportunities relative to clients or geographic area.
• Oversee profit/loss, budgeting, estimating, planning, scheduling, collections, and financial management.
