Job summary

Matrix Service Company is seeking a Sr. Electrical Project Manager, EPC to oversee large-scale electrical projects at upcoming sites. You will guide field teams, manage budgets, schedules, and client relations, and ensure project success from bid to completion.

The role requires strong PM and financial acumen, with a background in electrical EPC and preferably union environments. Excellence in communication and leadership is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering or construction management degree or 15 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• 10+ years PM experience with P&L responsibility in electrical EPC projects, preferably union.
• Experience with union subcontractors is a plus.
• PM certification (PMI) preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication; good interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of construction, finance, and project management principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for field projects of any size and complexity.
• Lead bid/presentation meetings and client relationships.
• Set objectives, policies, and performance standards per policy.
• Plan staffing through department heads and managers.
• Supervise field supervision to meet budget, schedule, and safety.
• Manage change orders and extra work estimates; advise on construction methods.
