Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support water and wastewater projects. The role focuses on design and execution, with opportunities to lead teams and coordinate with clients, vendors, and contractors.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and strong knowledge of electrical systems, AutoCAD, and ETAP/SKM tools. Experience with the water industry and project documentation is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred, but licensed engineers in training will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design tasks on assigned projects under minimal supervision.
• Develop project scope, budgets, and design approach for all project sizes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in client meetings and coordination sessions.
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal and external teams.
• Apply advanced knowledge of electrical engineering to resolve complex issues.
