Job summary

Stantec is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer to lead electrical design for water and wastewater projects. You will serve as Engineer-of-Record, size and specify electrical systems, and oversee design through construction with field coordination and client interaction.

The role requires strong communication, mentoring, and project-management skills, with experience in AutoCAD or Bentley software and ETAP/SKM/EasyPower assets. Multiple locations supported.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical and building codes and standards.
• Experience leading design through all project phases.
• Ability to manage scope, budget, staffing and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Act as Engineer-of-Record for electrical projects.
• Design, size, select and specify electrical systems.
• Develop construction documents and cost estimates.
• Lead design, coordination meetings with clients and contractors.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Oversee field reviews and construction phase services.
