Job summary

Stantec is hiring an Electrical Engineer for our water/wastewater discipline. You will design electrical systems, contribute to project deliverables, and act as Engineer-of-Record where licensed.

Expect to size, specify, and vet electrical components and lead design packages for complex municipal projects. The role requires a PE license, a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, and substantial experience with NEC, California Title 24, and power distribution knowledge.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical engineering concepts and standards.
• Experience with municipal water/wastewater projects is a plus.
• PE licensure and California Title 24 knowledge are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, specify, and review electrical system drawings and shop drawings.
• Develop designs through sketches, models, diagrams and docs.
• Create 3D models of electrical systems and prepare construction packages.
• Attend coordination meetings with clients, contractors, and vendors.
• Assist in cost estimates and project documentation.
• Coordinate project specs with construction documents.
