Job summary

Stantec seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and execute water/wastewater projects with a flexible location. You will handle drawings, reports, and calculations, while developing scopes and budgets and supporting proposals and client interviews.

You will lead coordination with owners, contractors, and vendors, supervise project resources, and contribute to new standards. PE is preferred, EIT considered, with significant field and office work in a dynamic water sector.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of industry standards and electrical codes.
• Experience with 120/208V, 480V, and 4160V distribution.
• Ability to lead project document production and coordination.
• Experience in water/wastewater facility design.
• Proven collaboration with multi-discipline teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform design tasks, drawings, reports, and calculations with minimal supervision.
• Develop scope, budgets, and design approaches; support proposals and client interviews.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams, owners, contractors, and vendors.
• Lead project coordination meetings and act as technical resource.
• Prepare construction bid documents and assist with procurement.
• Oversee delivery, schedule, and budget adherence with Project Managers.
• Engineer of record for own work and supervise others as needed.
• Contribute to standards and specifications development.
