Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support water and wastewater projects with a focus on design and execution. You will develop scopes, budgets, and technical documentation while collaborating with clients and a multidisciplinary team.

You will lead complex projects, apply current electrical engineering practices, and contribute to new standards. Preference for PE, with strong proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM360, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of ten years of related work experience or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred; EIT with PE plans considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design tasks on assigned projects under minimal supervision, including drawings, reports, presentations, and calculations.
• Develop project scope, budgets, and design approach for all project sizes, supporting proposals and client interviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in client meetings and with internal/external consultants, owners, and contractors.
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal and external teams and vendors.
• Act as a technical resource, applying advanced electrical engineering knowledge and new methods.
• Mentor and supervise project resources; participate in bid/proposal development and design documentation.
