Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead design and engineering of water and wastewater projects. As Engineer-of-Record, you will size, evaluate, and specify electrical systems, perform field investigations, and develop construction documents.

The role requires a PE license with 10+ years in water/wastewater, strong communication, and mentoring abilities. Primary location includes Fort Collins, CO with other locations listed; expect site field work as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer preferred or required depending on location.
• Minimum of 10 years of electrical engineering experience in water/wastewater projects.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and interface with clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engineer-of-Record for electrical systems in water/wastewater projects.
• Develop designs using sketches, models, diagrams, and specs.
• Lead project meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare construction packages, drawings and specs; estimate costs.
