Job summary
Stantec seeks a licensed Electrical Engineer to lead design and engineering of water and wastewater projects. You will act as Engineer-of-Record, applying expertise to size, select, and specify electrical systems per codes.
Responsibilities include field investigations, design calculations, and construction package development. You will guide junior engineers, conduct design reviews, and contribute to proposals while managing scope, budget, and schedule for multiple projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and PE license.
- Extensive experience in water/wastewater electrical design.
- Ability to lead multiple projects and teams.
- Strong knowledge of codes and standards for electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead Engineer-of-Record for electrical projects of varying complexity.
- Develop design concepts, sketches, and 3D models of electrical systems.
- Prepare construction documents and calculations.
- Mentor junior engineers and designers.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Manage project scope, budget, and schedule.
- Support business development and proposals.
- Conduct constructability reviews and quality assurance.
