Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support our Water Sector with flexible location. You will design and execute projects ranging in size and complexity, focusing on water and wastewater, while collaborating with a cross-disciplinary team.

You will lead coordination meetings, develop scopes and budgets, and contribute to technical standards. PE preferred; experience with ETAP/SKM and AutoCAD/BIM360 is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Ten years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
• PE preferred; EIT with plans to pursue PE considered.
• Field work may involve exposure to the elements.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design tasks on assigned projects with minimal supervision.
• Develop project scope, budgets, and design approach; support proposals and client interviews.
• Coordinate with stakeholders in meetings with internal/external consultants, owners, and vendors.
• Lead project coordination meetings with team and external parties.
• Act as technical resource; apply advanced electrical engineering knowledge.
• Assist in development of design documents and client relations.
