Job summary

Stantec in the United States is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead the design and engineering of water and wastewater projects. You will act as Engineer-of-Record, size and specify electrical systems, and manage design packages and project deliverables.

The role requires a PE license and 10+ years of experience, with strong leadership and communication skills, and familiarity with AutoCAD/Bentley tools. Office is in Phoenix with Las Vegas location options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and codes.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Acts as Engineer-of-Record for projects and/or project components of varying degrees of complexity.
• Develops and manages project scope, budget, staffing and schedule.
• Leads the development of construction packages (drawings and specifications).
• Leads project coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversees field reviews and construction phase services.
