Job summary

Stantec is seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer to lead design and engineering for water and wastewater projects. You will act as Engineer-of-Record, size and specify electrical systems, and guide project deliverables from concept through construction.

Responsibilities include field investigations, client liaising, cost estimation, and coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure quality and schedule adherence. 7–8 years of experience and PE license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer designation required.
• 7–8 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience with water/wastewater projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as Engineer-of-Record for projects and/or components of varying complexity.
• Evaluates, selects, specifies, and engineers all electrical systems for a project.
• Leads development of design through sketches, models and diagrams.
• Develops 3D models of electrical systems.
• Mentors junior engineers and designers.
