Jacobs is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – SME to act as a senior technical authority for electrical infrastructure supporting hyperscale and mission-critical facilities across the United States. You will shape electrical strategy from utility interconnection through the IT load, providing technical direction, independent review, client guidance, and mentorship.

You will lead MV/LV distribution design, substantia, transformers, switchgear, UPS, and protection studies, while guiding project

Qualificações

• Education: ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree; Master's preferred.
• PE License: Active Electrical PE in at least one US jurisdiction; NCEES record preferred.
• Experience: 15–20+ years in electrical engineering for data centers/mission-critical facilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead electrical architecture and basis of design from utility to IT load.
• Provide senior leadership for MV/LV distribution, substations, switchgear, and UPS systems.
• Review and develop studies (short-circuit, load-flow, arc-flash, protection) with ETAP/SKM/EasyPower.
• Govern design packages, perform independent reviews, and guide multi-team delivery.
