Jacobs is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – SME to serve as a technical authority for electrical infrastructure supporting hyperscale, colocation, AI/HPC, and other mission-critical facilities. You will shape electrical strategy from utility interconnection through the IT load, offering guidance and mentorship across project teams.

Responsibilities include leading architecture, MV/LV distribution, and critical power systems, while ensuring design governance, reviews, and successful delivery

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (Master's preferred).
• Active Electrical PE license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; ability to obtain additional state licenses.
• 15–20+ years of professional electrical engineering experience, data centers or mission-critical facilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead electrical architecture decisions from utility service through IT load.
• Provide senior technical leadership for MV/LV distribution, substations, switchgear and UPS systems.
• Lead or review load flow, short-circuit, protective coordination, arc-flash and related studies.
• Provide independent design reviews of calculations, drawings, specifications, and equipment selections.
• Support project delivery from concept through procurement, construction, commissioning and turnover.
• Provide senior electrical support for FAT/SAT startup and commissioning.
