Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an electrical engineer to join a nuclear power group in Greenville, SC. You will work within a project team to design, modify, and analyze electrical systems for new and existing plants.

Responsibilities include preparing design packages, performing electrical calculations, reviewing equipment specs, and coordinating with clients and vendors. Hybrid work with three days in-office per week is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 7+ years in electrical engineering design for industrial or power-plant projects.
• Experience selecting equipment, materials, and preparing change packages.
• Experience with low/medium voltage distribution, transformers, generators, relays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/review design change packages for plant equipment upgrades.
• Perform electrical calculations: short-circuit, voltage drop, AC/DC studies.
• Prepare procurement specs and review vendor responses.
• Interface with multi-discipline teams and clients; attend site visits.
• Support project execution, tracking scope, budget, and deliverables.
