Job summary

Sargent & Lundy in Greenville, SC is seeking a senior electrical engineer for nuclear power plant systems design, including modifications, drawings, analyses, and specifications. You will lead engineering project teams, develop cost estimates, interface with clients onsite, and work on a hybrid schedule with 3 in-office days per week.

An ABET-accredited BS or MS in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years in the nuclear industry are required.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited program.
• 10+ years of experience in the nuclear power industry.
• Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations for nuclear plant mechanical design.
• PE license is beneficial, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Involved in nuclear power plant systems design, including modifications and drawings.
• Prepare or review functional mechanical drawings and engineering analyses.
• Develop technical specifications and procurement documents for plant equipment.
• Evaluate vendor bids for plant equipment and studies for modifications.
• Lead engineering project teams and interface with clients on site.
