Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (Generation) - Nuclear to lead electrical design, systems engineering, and oversight for nuclear projects within the Power & Energy Team. You will work across life-cycle stages, collaborating with owners, reactor developers, and suppliers to ensure safety-related electrical systems meet regulatory and quality standards.

The role requires extensive experience with Class 1E systems, license requirements, and deep knowledge of nuclear safety

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
  • Professional Engineer license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 10+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience, preferably in nuclear.

Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical engineering for operating nuclear plants and projects.
  • Design, analyze, and modify Class 1E and non-Class 1E power systems.
  • Prepare and review nuclear-grade calculations and drawings.
  • Coordinate interfaces across instrumentation, controls, mechanical, civil/structural, and other disciplines.
