Job summary

ON.energy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead MV AI UPS and BESS projects for data centers and grid applications. You will size batteries, validate inverter/PCS performance, and drive EMS, Plant Controllers, and SCADA integrations to ensure reliable energy storage.

Reporting to the Chief Electrical Engineer, you will lead vendor reviews, lifecycle modeling, and cross‑functional collaboration across domestic and international sites with 30% travel.

Qualifications

8+ years of electrical engineering experience focused on battery systems and EMS/Plant Controller integration.
Experience with BESS vendor evaluation and inverter/PCS performance validation.
Deep knowledge of battery sizing and lifecycle modeling for utility-scale energy storage.
Experience with EMS/Plant Controller integration, SCADA configuration, and operational optimization.
