Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required; dual citizenship not eligible.
• ABET-accredited BSEE or MSEE degree required.
• 7+ years progressive electrical engineering experience, preferably in a nuclear environment.
• Experience with low to medium voltage electrical distribution and instrumentation wiring.
• Familiarity with NEC, UL508, IES Lighting Handbook.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical design engineering efforts on multi-disciplined project teams.
• Produce engineering calculations, analyses, and reports.
• Prepare design inputs for drawings: site plans, power/lighting, one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams.
• Apply electrical engineering expertise to design, qualification of structures, systems, components.
• Produce procurement and construction specifications.
• Attend project meetings and field walk downs.
• Mentor less experienced engineers.
