Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design of electrical systems for complex nuclear facilities. You will head project teams, prepare and review critical calculations, and coordinate with clients and vendors to ensure on-time, compliant delivery. A U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain US Government security clearance.
• BSEE from ABET-accredited program required; MSEE preferred.
• Current PE license in US and NM licensure possible.
• DOE 'Q' level clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of electrical engineering deliverables: drawings, calculations, specifications.
• Act as Electrical discipline lead coordinating design phases for site and facility work.
• Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
• Interface with clients as discipline lead; provide status updates and clarify scope.
• Prepare and review electrical calculations (arc flash, voltage drop, fault current, lighting).
• Interface with vendors for materials and equipment purchase specs.
• Prepare reports; review work of others; mentor junior engineers.
