Job summary

Gradian Thermal Solutions in Maple Grove, MN, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to own the electrical design of engineered liquid cooling solutions for data center applications. You will lead electrical architecture, standards application, validation rigor, and mentoring to ensure safe, compliant, manufacturable designs.

The role requires strong independent leadership, deep knowledge of NFPA 70/70E, UL 508A, IEC 60204-1, and hands-on review of schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and release

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years of industrial electrical design experience.
• Ability to own electrical scope and make independent decisions.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70/70E, UL 508A, IEC 60204-1, and related standards.
• Proficiency with electrical CAD and engineering documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned product and project electrical scope end-to-end, including requirements, architecture, design, documentation, and release.
• Establish electrical architecture for power distribution, protection, grounding, and instrumentation.
• Review and release complete electrical design packages (schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, etc.).
• Mentor Electrical Engineers and lead technical reviews to improve standards.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Thermal, Controls, Test & Integration, Manufacturing, Quality, and Suppliers.
