Gradian in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design and develop advanced thermal management and production solutions for high-performance systems, including data center and manufacturing applications. The role requires deep expertise in thermal calculations, liquid cooling (RDHX/CDU), and design for manufacturability.

You will mentor junior engineers and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and business teams to deliver reliable, innovative cooling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engineering projects from initial sale through shipment, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Apply Design for Manufacturability to ensure cost-effective production and maintain guidelines.
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Optimize processes and propose cost-saving initiatives to boost productivity.
• Manage vendor relationships and component purchasing to ensure timely delivery.
• Research and recommend technology improvements for products and manufacturing practices.
• Develop and track performance metrics for projects and handoffs.
• Provide leadership and mentorship, including meetings and training.
