Job summary

Matrix Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Industrial Power Systems and Distribution to join our Electrical Engineering team.

In this role, you will lead the design, analysis, and implementation of low- and medium-voltage electrical power systems supporting manufacturing facilities across various industries. You will collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams, delivering innovative solutions from concept to startup.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BSEE/BSEET required.
• 6+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial facilities or related industries.
• Experience designing low-voltage power distribution for industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of NEC and industrial electrical design practices.
• Experience developing electrical construction documents and design packages.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, vendors, and teams.
• Willingness to travel 25–30%, and authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical power system design projects for industrial facilities.
• Develop electrical construction packages including diagrams and layouts.
• Design LV/MV power distribution systems and related equipment.
• Perform electrical system analyses (arc flash, short circuit, coordination, load flow).
• Develop technical specs and procurement packages.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support proposals, budgeting, and project planning.
