Job summary

Matrix Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Industrial Power Systems and Distribution to join our Electrical Engineering team.

You will lead design, analysis, and implementation of low- and medium-voltage power systems for industrial facilities, mentor engineers, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BSEE/BSEET required.
• 6+ years of electrical engineering in industrial facilities.
• Experience designing LV power distribution for industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of NEC and industrial electrical design practices.
• Experience developing electrical construction documents and design packages.
• Strong communication with clients and teams; good organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel 25–30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical power system design projects for industrial facilities.
• Develop construction packages: one-lines, power plans, layouts, conduit plans, schedules, details.
• Design LV/MV distribution systems including switchgear, MCCs, transformers, panels.
• Perform analyses: arc flash, short circuit, protection coordination, load flow, modeling.
• Develop technical specs and procurement packages; assist with proposals and budgeting.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams; mentor junior engineers.
