Job summary

Axon is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to own the electrical design, development, and validation of complex hardware for mission-critical connected devices. This hybrid role means onsite work at our hubs in Boston, MA or Scottsdale, AZ with domestic travel up to 50% and relocation assistance available.

You’ll lead schematic, PCB design, bring‑up, validation, certification, and mass production while collaborating with RF, Mechanical, Firmware, and Manufacturing teams to solve design

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical and circuit board design experience.
• Hands-on in architecture → schematic capture → PCB layout → bring-up → validation → production.
• Experience with high‑density, mixed‑signal PCBs and power/battery systems.
• Proficiency in high‑speed interfaces and EMI/EMC considerations.
• Experience bringing hardware through SP/EVT/DVT/PVT and mass production.

Responsibilities

• Own detailed mixed‑signal schematic design across processors, memory, power, and interfaces.
• Drive complex PCB designs from architecture through layout and release.
• Design for robust signal and power integrity across interfaces and analog blocks.
• Lead component selection, power‑tree design, and charging architecture.
• Partner with Mechanical and Industrial Design for board form factor and integration.
• Lead bring‑up, characterization, validation, and root‑cause analysis.
• Own electrical readiness through certification and manufacturing ramp.
• Provide technical direction and design review support.
