Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own the design, development and validation of complex electrical systems for mission-critical hardware. You will lead across schematics design, RF coexistence, mechanical integration, and hardware debugging with ownership across the full hardware lifecycle.

As a founding member of our hardware team, you will set architecture and engineering standards, mentor engineers, and drive production readiness from concept to mass production.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded electronics design experience in high-density, battery-powered or similar systems.
• Experience with PCB design and RF integration across highly integrated devices.
• Experience taking electronics from concept to certification and mass production.
• Strong RF coexistence, interference, signal integrity and EMC considerations.
• Proficiency with Cadence OrCAD/Allegro and RF test equipment.
• Experience designing rigid/flex PCBs and meeting international standards.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Electrical & board design across processors, RF transceivers, power management and fast interfaces.
• RF integration and coexistence across multiple wireless technologies.
• Mechanical integration with layout and antenna optimization.
• Bring-up, debugging and characterization using RF test equipment.
• Production readiness including BOMs, documentation, and certification.
• Provide technical leadership and review designs with partners and teams.
