Job Summary

The Electrical Engineer is a key member of a cross-disciplinary team driving the design, development, and execution of pilot control, actuation systems, and cockpit solutions for next-generation military and commercial aircraft. Responsibilities include developing new products, improving existing ones, and supporting their lifecycle from initial design to field support.

Essential Job Functions

1. Designing electrical systems including requirements capture, digital and high-power design, analog design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and certification processes.
2. Performing operational, maintenance, or testing procedures for electronic products and troubleshooting issues.
3. Reviewing customer specifications to ensure technical compliance and participating in design reviews.
4. Supporting prototype manufacturing, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
5. Evaluating design changes, supporting trade studies, and participating in program change control processes.
6. Providing technical support to teams and ensuring work complies with company policies.

Education and Experience

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field; 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Self-directed with minimal supervision.
• Critical thinking and root cause analysis skills.
• Proficiency with project management, engineering documentation, and analysis tools.
