Job Summary
Performs full recruitment cycle and employment of new and existing employees for Safran. Acts as the subject expert in Safran's hiring process, acting as a liaison between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a high-quality experience for all stakeholders. This role may be based in Irvine, CA or Grand Prairie, TX.
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
- Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline for key roles through networking, industry events, and online platforms.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and ensure effective hiring strategies.
- Utilize innovative sourcing techniques to attract top aerospace industry talent, including passive candidate engagement.
- Review resumes and applications to create a shortlist of candidates to submit to the hiring manager.
- Conduct interviews and screen applicants for technical competencies, background, skills, goals, and organizational fit.
- Facilitate effective interaction between hiring managers and candidates.
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in talent acquisition.
Required Competencies
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree required; preferred in Human Resources Management, Social Sciences, or Humanities.
- SHRM certification is a plus.
- Over five years of HR experience, with a focus on recruiting.
- Proficiency in sourcing, recruiting, and selecting top talent, especially in technical and aerospace roles.
- Familiarity with industry-specific workforce trends, compliance, and challenges.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
