The Systems Engineer is a key member of a cross-disciplinary team driving the design, development and execution of the pilot control, actuation systems, and cockpit solutions program for the next generation of military and commercial aircraft. The Systems Engineer works on the development of new products, and the improvement and sustainment of products. Engineering duties will span the entire product lifecycle, from initial design and requirements capture through manufacture and field support.
Qualifications include significant knowledge of products, systems, sub-systems, and applicable regulatory requirements for highly complex systems. Must understand the big picture and inter-relationships of all system activities, develop performance requirements, and support compliance and risk management. Support proposal preparation and serve as a subject matter expert. Develop and utilize system metrics, provide input to technical roadmaps, mentor junior engineers, and ensure project compliance and quality.
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, aerospace, electrical, manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, or systems engineering. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Must comply with ITAR regulations, being a U.S. person (citizen, green card holder, refugee, or asylee).
