Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to join our Federal Programs Team at Fort Meade, MD.

You will perform electrical design and production support from project inception through construction, using AutoCAD and Revit to develop plans and specifications. In this role you will lead technical analyses, coordinate with owners and other disciplines, prepare data visualizations and reports, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring compliance with UFC/SpecsIntact and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Proficient AutoCAD design software.
• 7+ years of Electrical Engineering design experience.
• Ability to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical design and production support from project inception through construction.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Revit and Trace 3D Plus to solve complex electrical engineering problems.
• Develop construction documents, specifications, and safety/phasing plans.
• Coordinate with owners, other disciplines, and clients for project success.
• Prepare data visualizations and technical reports for findings and recommendations.
• Maintain QA/QC and regulatory compliance throughout project lifecycle.
• Provide guidance and training to junior engineers.
• Support multiple concurrent projects and contribute to team goals.
