Job summary

WSP is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to join the Federal Programs Team at Fort George G. Meade Army Base, MD. You will lead electrical design and production support from project inception through construction, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and client objectives.

The role requires strong AutoCAD and Revit skills, UFC/UFGS experience, and the ability to guide junior engineers while coordinating with owners, sub-consultants, and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Strong hands-on application of AutoCAD design software.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering design.
• Ability to obtain a US Government-issued Secret clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical engineering design and production support from inception through construction.
• Utilize REVIT, AutoCAD, and other tools to solve complex technical problems.
• Develop construction plans, load calculations, and operating strategies per UFC/UFGS.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers; collaborate with owners, disciplines, and clients.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and data visualizations.
