Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Federal Programs Team, with potential work across Arlington, VA; Virginia Beach, VA; San Antonio, TX; Dallas, TX; Tacoma, WA; Seattle, WA or Denver, CO. You will lead electrical design and coordinate across disciplines on diverse facilities projects.

You will mentor staff, develop specs and construction documents, and ensure compliance with NFPA codes and project standards. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited college or university.
• 10+ years of post-education experience delivering design for large capital projects.
• Professional Engineering registration; US citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead larger-scale electrical engineering projects and oversee staff.
• Develop construction plans, specs, cost estimates, and basis of design.
• Coordinate with Government, owners, and sub-consultants to ensure compliance and quality.
• Mentor junior staff and support proposal development and business opportunities.
