Job summary

HDR Engineering is seeking an Electrical/Senior Electrical Engineer to join one of the largest TMT practices. The role focuses on electrical design for data center and mission-critical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and coordinating with clients, PMs, architects, and other disciplines.

Preferred qualifications include PE license, a degree with electrical emphasis, and experience with Revit and power systems. HDR emphasizes employee ownership, inclusion, and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems).
• Strong CAD skills with AutoCAD and Revit; familiarity with SKM, AGI and Easy Power.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, organize, and facilitate growth of junior staff.
• Coordinate work of Electrical Engineers, EITs, and BIM Specialists.
• Lead electrical discussions in design meetings with multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform design sessions, RFI responses, and shop drawing reviews.
• Support construction with field observations and submittal reviews.
