Job summary

HDR Engineering seeks an Electrical/Senior Electrical Engineer to join a leading TMT practice, focusing on data center and mission-critical infrastructure. You will design projects from concept to construction, coordinating with clients, PMs, architects and other disciplines.

Leadership and mentoring of junior staff are expected, and a PE license is highly valued. Opportunities exist across multiple HDR locations; travel to sites and offices may be required to ensure project success and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• Previous experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems).
• PE or P.Eng license required.
• Strong computer skills using AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI and Easy Power.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for data center/mission critical projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate with clients, project managers, architects and other disciplines.
• Develop feasibility studies, construction documents and specifications.
• Perform design reviews, RFI responses and shop drawing reviews.
• Provide construction support and site observations; travel as needed.
