Job summary

HDR Engineering seeks an Electrical/Senior Electrical Engineer to join a large TMT practice. The role focuses on electrical design for data center and mission-critical buildings, coordinating with clients, project managers, architects, and other disciplines.

The position requires a PE license and experience with building electrical systems. Strong leadership and mentoring skills are essential for team development and project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
• Experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems).
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, AGI and Easy Power.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, organize, and facilitate growth of junior staff.
• Coordinate work of Electrical Engineers and BIM Specialists within a multidisciplinary team.
• Lead electrical discussions in design meetings and coordinate with architects and project managers.
• Design and deliver feasibility reports, construction documents, and engineering calculations.
