Job summary

HDR is seeking an Electrical/Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing TMT practice. You will design electrical systems for data centers and mission-critical facilities, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality construction documents.

Responsibilities include feasibility studies, design development, RFI responses, site investigations, and construction administration. Some travel to sites or HDR offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis is preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license required or to be licensed.
• Strong computer skills using AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, AGI and Easy Power.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for data center/mission-critical projects from concept to construction documents.
• Coordinate with clients, project managers, architects and other disciplines to meet requirements.
• Develop feasibility reports, construction documents, specifications, calculations and RFI responses.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate workload to meet schedules.
• Travel to job sites or HDR offices as needed.
