Job summary

HDR is seeking an Electrical/Senior Electrical Engineer to join the TMT practice. You will design electrical systems for data centers and mission critical projects, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with clients, project managers, and architects from concept through construction.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/Architectural Engineering, PE license, and experience in building electrical design. Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, SKM, AGI, and Easy Power is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting, power, systems).
Experience with data center/mission critical projects.
Strong computer skills: AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, AGI, Easy Power.
Local candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

Mentor, organize, and facilitate the growth of junior staff.
Lead electrical design for data center/mission critical projects.
Coordinate workload and multidisciplinary teams through project development.
Attend design meetings and lead electrical discussions.
Prepare feasibility reports, construction documents, specifications, calculations, RFIs, shop drawings, site investigations, and construction administration.
